Drs. Johnson and Swanson were recommended to us about five years ago. At my first meeting with Dr. Jamie we discussed my teeth, of course, but I left with the impression that this was a dentist who was looking beyond my mouth. I was right.

Since that time Sandy and I have had extensive dental work done, with beautiful results. What impresses us most about this dental practice, however, is their treatment of a person as a whole. The skills and caring attitude of the entire staff have taken the anxiety out of our dental experiences.

A few years back I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I took my problem to Dr. Jamie. She accepted the challenge enthusiastically and created a dental appliance that works so well that I happily gave up the CPAP machine. Life is great!

Sandy and I have developed a friendship with Drs. Jamie and Jim and their staff that I'm sure will be long lasting. It's based on humanity, trust, and competency.

During my college years, I managed to snap-off two chunks of my front teeth while limbo dancing in Tijuana. I had the teeth fixed in California, and they lasted 4-5 years. When I moved to Newport Beach, I switched to a highly recommended dentist who couldn't seem to get the thickness correct on the bonding and told me that it was basically impossible to make the bond thin enough. I switched to another Newport Dentist who had the same problems. Inevitably, when I moved to Denver, the bonding needed replacing, and I visited another established dentist who told me that I needed to get veneers. He agreed to try to fix the teeth; however, after receiving several shots, I left the dentist chair in tears never to return to him again.

At this point, I turned to my friend Jamie whose father had pulled my wisdom teeth when I was just a teenager living in Pueblo. Although I live in Denver, I agreed to make an appointment in Pueblo to have Jamie look at my teeth. Why didn't I see her sooner?? She fixed my front teeth like they were her own, and they look and feel perfect. Over the past years, she has fixed them just as perfectly when I have done stupid things like get them stuck in a Sugar Daddy candy or break them on a crusty bagel. I have complete trust in her. She is brilliant, artistic, compassionate, and skilled. I continue to make the trek from Denver to Pueblo for all my dental needs .

I have always smiled. In my late forties, my teeth started to shift. I knew that something was wrong. I became a patient of Dr. Swanson. After a complete exam, he realized that I had several problems and that I would probably lose some of my teeth. I didn’t want false teeth at such a young age. Dr. Swanson spent a lot of time deciding the best treatment. I received four implants and some bridges.

I am extremely pleased with the results! My smile is as good or better than when I was a young girl. I can eat everything. My teeth are very natural and I think they are beautiful. Dr. Swanson was caring, informative, and gentle during every step of the process. Also, few people could tell that I was having so much work done. He did a wonderful job!
